Like every Slim d’Hermès watch, an understated and light font finds its way to the dial and the numerals ensure the ideal legibility of time. After rubbing the surface of the dial to condense it, rigidify it and trim it down, the enameller uses a fine brush to apply a thin regular dusting of white enamel powder before firing it in a kiln heated to 830oC.
With such a masterful technique, the Slim d’Hermès Grand Feu timepiece cannot be considered but a one-of-a-kind tribute to this time-old expertise.
