Travel to a World of Genuine Elegance at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris

A stay at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris is certainly not an ordinary one. It’s a place that came from dreams and shaken the reality by redefining the codes of luxury hotels and embracing the unusual, without compromising on perfection. The French revolutionary “Je ne sais quoi” spirit takes over, bringing back this hotel from the roaring Twenties with all of its Parisian elegance. Once a place of encounter between artists and writers, as well as gentlemen and adventurers, it remains one for those who are not afraid of their own era and embrace the magic of unexpected moments.

Entirely reimagined by Philippe Starck, who said: “a hotel is intrinsically pointless, it is just a shelter for people, who deserve our attention, generosity and consideration deserves attention, generosity and consideration”, art, culture, beauty and creation have an original, genuine and dominant presence everywhere – from the layout of the spaces to the furnishings, the service and the atmosphere. It invites travelers to experience a different life, yet gives the sensation of being both at home and away. Since it opened in 1928, Le Royal Monceau has been a luxury address visited by prestigious guests from all over the world and continues to reflect that same French sophistication of the past while being in the modern times.

Upon arrival, you are welcomed to the intimacy of La Réception, which Philippe Starck conceived “as a reunion or return to a family house, to a “home”, with a promise of peace, rich with fertile surprises.” This antechamber leads to the lobby, which seems like a central aisle featuring little private salons and tiny display cases. Then, the historic and monumental staircase multiplied endlessly by a play of mirrors reflecting Le Royal Monceau’s collection of chandeliers grouped into clusters takes you to the upper floors where the bedrooms, suites and private apartments are located.

An escape from the vibrant public areas of the ground floor, the rooms offer serenity in the elegance of the 40s and the 50s, as rigorous lines, fine materials and warm colors meet sensitive details such as love letters left in the drawer of a desk. In the bathroom, stone, steel and glass mingle to reflect an extreme cleanliness. As for the dressing room, a succession of mirrors and neoclassical furnishings in a shadowless light give the illusion of a haute couture fitting room. The 64 suites are conceived in the same spirit and offer inspiration through the memories of the famous personalities who inhabited them in the past, while the 3 private apartments provide the advantages of a private
dwelling and offer all of the hotel’s services.

This experience is completed with a selection of restaurants, bars, art and cultural services, a cinema and the Clarins & myBlend Spa to make this journey truly worth it. Head to the Photo Gallery to get immersed in Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris exquisite world.
