The Selleria Roams Over FENDI

FENDI’s past is revived in its Women Spring/Summer 2024 collection in recurring codes and motifs that stretch back to the beginnings of the House. From its initial inspiration and creation by Roman master saddlers, the linking thread of the FENDI Selleria 1925 hand-made saddle stitch ties all categories of the present collection together and back to the past of its fashion and leather goods. The iconic wax thread saddle stitch of the line is replaced by its thicker tone-on-tone version referred to as macro-stitching, which finds its form throughout the different categories.

The FENDI Selleria becomes a fil-rouge throughout the House's categories, spreading its charm beyond iconic leather handbags to leather clothing and detailing in ready-to-wear, while the Selleria’s Cuoio Romano leather, saddle stitching, and savoir-faire make a powerful statement on the icons Peekaboo and Baguette after finding their way across small leather goods with a revamped Peekaboo line of wallets and cases, across new abstract, metal thread incarnation on the shoes, also named FENDI Filo, across the ‘FENDI handwriting’ of the FENDI Filo jewelry line as Sewing threads turn into gold, and a lot more.

Available in FENDI boutiques worldwide and on Fendi.com, FENDI’s new marvels will take your looks to unprecedented levels, especially with the striking palette that reflects the bold colors of the clothing – inspired by the archival Spring/Summer 1999 collection by Karl Lagerfeld – found in a full rainbow of colors, including blue, yellow, vermilion red and House browns.
