Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils a New High Jewelry Tale

Opening a new chapter in its wondrous story, Van Cleef & Arpels unveils a new high jewelry collection in which it celebrates its love for poetry and dreams. Entitled “Quatre contes de Grimm”, the French house reinterprets four tales by the brothers Grimm: “The Twelve Dancing Princesses”, “The Golden Bird”, “The Three Feathers” and “Town Musicians of Bremen”.

With the luxuriant nature always in mind, Van Cleef & Arpels brings heroes and heroines to life in a setting where paths are set with diamonds and golden apples grow on trees. As magical as this may sound, no words could describe the harmony between the landscapes and the gems that come together in a selection of stunning high jewelry pieces fit for a fairytale. A range of feelings is expressed in a rich palette of materials in which diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and coral beads take part.

And as an ode to its love for secret castles, Van Cleef & Arpels also depicts the charm of grandiose balls, paving the way for princesses to showcase their grace and follow the footsteps of ballerinas to become another signature of the house.

In this reinterpretation of Brothers Grimm’s fairytale universe, the house has put in its expertise in choosing the finest gems and its jewelry-making craftsmanship – resulting in a high jewelry collection bursting with elegance and beauty. With the blue Burmese sapphire that expresses the depth of a moonlit night, the yellow diamond that represents the glitter of a golden apple and the emerald that evokes the splendor of a garden, each used stone bears a message for you to discover.
