Supermodel double act, sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid have become quite the catwalk fixture and they were there to lend their signature runway style to Tod’s show in Milan this morning. In what felt like a 2018 tribute to aeronautical heroine Amelia Earhart, Gigi opened the show in a patchwork shearling coat, layered over a shearling gilet and black loose fit leather trousers. Her accessories? A puppy and one of Tod’s new bags of the season, an oversized orangey tote. For fall 2018, the luxury leather brand gives us a new take on footwear with white leather trainers and suede or leather wedge knee-high boots. A new play on texture and craftsmanship – think patent leathers mixed with suede and shearling – gave us a chic white patent leather trench coat and teal green suede biker jacket and trouser combination. This was a playful collection infused with that quintessential Tod’s leather craftsmanship.
