Graphic lines, fluid contours and a relaxed athletic style, that’s how Sportmax described its spring/summer collection held in Milan today. There were mixes of pretty summer shades like pinks and soft berries and greens, and the silhouettes were long and lean with the occasional full volume. It was stripes galore, in little fitted knit tops and matching tube skirts. While, striped panels accentuated the waist of a berry vest midi dress and a fitted cropped striped tee was the perfect balance to showcase a pastel pink full parachute style skirt. Black suede gladiator sandals, colored lace-up brogues and printed ballerinas with elastic details gave a modern city feel. This was ‘classy sporty’ at its best with silk t-shirts styled over asymmetric silk skirts trimmed with that must-have athletic stripe.
