Roksanda Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Ready-to-Wear

Who knew color-blocking and minimalism could be thrown in together in the same collection? Well, Roksanda Ilincic did, as she playfully instilled her Fall/Winter 2018-2019 collection with hints of fluid movements and voluminous styles.

The Serbian designer sent out models wearing camel leather suits upholstered with bold red linings alongside a series of silk turtleneck dresses that eschewed pastel-like shades. There were oversized shearling jackets matched with structured trousers and voluptuous ruffled dresses resting atop leather thigh-high boots. The numbers came in vibrant and bold colors – Roksanda’s moniker touch – and were synonymous with pared-down elegance. To top it all off, the designer also offered a slew of billowing pashminas that doubled as ponchos and dreamy leather gloves that put a sophisticated spin to the collection. Halfway through the show, a series of models sashayed their way on to the runway in candy-colored chiffon dresses with Harlequin necklines, hence introducing the lavish eveningwear selection.
