Missoni Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

She might be known for her undeniable knack for transforming run-of-the-mill knits into state-of-the-art pieces, but Angela Missoni has also developed a love for all-things relaxed. For Spring-Summer 2018, Missoni used see-through voile to create delicate summer wraps with colors skewing from white to pasty hues. But the knit-standard the House takes pride in couldn’t have gone unnoticed, as models sported knit-jumpsuits paired with colorful socks and metallic pumps, while others were spotted in knit-cover ups, knit swimsuits and knit kimonos. Ensembles seemed to carry the colorful legacy on, putting into sights unique color combinations – think pink with yellow and orange – and revealing thin striped scarves. The looks were mostly accessorized with big flower brooches and see-through gloves, giving the collection infinite possibilities. The contrasting prints seemed to take over the dresses as well, not only unveiling psychedelic shapes but also – much to our joy – funky colors.

Experiencing untouched territory can be quite exciting, even more so when you bring along a few things of your legacy; and that’s exactly what seemed to be reigning over Missoni’s show today.
