How to Use Pigment Eyeshadow

MAC Pigments have been my go to eyeshadows ever since I discovered them. Lately, I decided to switch back to regular eyeshadows because I felt like they were getting too messy, but I missed the rich color pay off. Basically, they look amazing but they are high maintenance. I decided to look for some tips and tricks to make sure I was using them correctly. What I found was that there were so many other ways to use them!

The first way was kind of how I was using it. I would spray some MAC Fix Plus on my brush and then dip in the powder and apply. Instead, I learned that I could mix the pigment in a little bit of Fix Plus and this would give it that foil appearance. I can’t wait to try this. You can even use these pigments to make your own colored mascara, add it to your polish or even your lip balm to make a lipstick. The shade I love which is TAN, would look pretty as a blush/bronzer, so I’m thinking of trying it out on my cheeks. Just keep in mind it’s pretty intense so use very sparingly.
