I have a love-hate relationship with Halloween; I love dressing up, but I don’t like to be scared. It’s fun to dress up as a scary witch or a vampire, but how about a magical fairy? What’s the first thing you think of when you imagine a fairy? Glitter! And the more the better.

Start off with your regular foundation, preferably a lighter shade or one matching your exact skin tone. 

Apply a plum shade to your crease such as MAC Eyeshadow in Haux. Then add SEPHORA COLLECTION Colorful Shadow & Liner in Color 21 Pink Glitter to your lids.

Use ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Eye Shadow Singles in Iridescent Purple to darken up the crease. Extend it out like an eyeliner and repeat on the lower lid. Have some fun with it; the more dramatic the better.

My glitter of choice is by MAC Pigment, you can either use your finger or a damp brush to apply it to the middle of your lid.

Next apply Bobbi Brown Blush in Pretty Pink to cheeks; pile it on because this isn’t a subtle look.

NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Yu is the perfect shade of pink for this look.

Apply a black liner to enhance the cat eye shape along with the most dramatic lashes you can find. This look is all about glitter, so get your favorite highlighter or just use the glitter right above the cheeks and above the brow bone. Don’t forget your fairy wings!
