Clare Waight Keller held her debut collection for Givenchy this morning at the Palais de Justice, and it was the first time a fashion show has been held here. Guests were welcomed by a majestic wrought iron gated entrance inspired by the historic façade of the Givenchy Headquarters. Of her Givenchy reinvention, “I want people to think that was completely unexpected” she had explained to the New York Times ahead of her show entitled “Transformation Seduction”. One thing’s for certain, if you’re looking to transform your wardrobe with an update on the little black dress, complete with covetable stylish slouchy leather boots, make it a Givenchy dress. From the black and white print mini ruffled dress, to a bold shoulder asymmetrical evening piece, Waight Keller gave a magical lightness to her collection, sure to be spotted on front row red carpet guests like Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara.
