Dior Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

It’s time to get your sparkle and shine on, as Maria Grazia Chiuri wants to celebrate women who create, and the way she chose to do so with Dior’s s/s18 show was with a collection of sparkling prom skirted girls in silver metallic gogo-boots. Held in the Musee Rodin against a fantasy backdrop made up of 80,000 pieces of mirror, Chiuri gave a nod to her all navy winter collection with a pair of wide leg jeans and a slogan t-shirt that read “Why have there been no great women artists?” Picking up on her Parisian themes from last season, models wore little embellished berets. Net and chiffon skirts were draped over monochromatic playful playsuits for day, and styled with black mesh lace-up boots. For evening she upped the ante with a collection of candy colored embellished playsuits worn under mesh skirts.
