This is a beauty technique making a huge comeback and we call it Draping!  

Draping is a contouring technique using blush to give a super flushed 70s disco look. 

This is a look I am absolutely loving and achieving it is super easy to do too. It’s all about placement and product. Tres simple!

Choose a Blush with rich undertones like red or berry. Apply it as you would apply your contour, except this time you won’t be using your usual earth toned contour powder or cream. 

Pull the color all the way up to your temples; think of an edgy 70s diva who’s been dancing all night. 

My preference is to use a cream formula blush rather than a powder, as it gives off a more real and dewy finish plus it lasts longer and you can blend the color to intensify it as you choose. 

Add some lip gloss and a smile and you are good to go!
