You probably remember it shining under the arms of Sarah Jessica Parker and you probably have had your eyes on it since then. Well brace yourselves ladies, Fendi’s Baguette bag is making a bold comeback and it’s as glamorous as ever!

Designed in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the Baguette bag was a nineties staple, portraying itself as a must-have accessory for the glitzy and chic woman and bearing its name from the French baguette traditionally carried under the arm.

But wait, the ultimate icon has gone through a massive transformation to complement the Spring-Summer 2019 collection; think new proportions – from oversized to a mini version – and a new exceptional and hyper soft FF logo embossed leather in pastel colors.

With that a mind, the House’s cult object and the notion of friendship are celebrated through a series of three short movies filmed in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York.

#BaguetteFriendsForever are hence the new movie episodes counting three different stories of inseparable friends, following their daily routine in the quest for the FENDI Baguette bag. The first episode “The Baguette is back”, features Shanghai as its backdrop and movie actresses Tan Zhuo and Qiao Xin, as well as influencers Yu Wei and Yoyo, enjoying shopping at the FENDI store and cat-walking in front of the mirror and choosing their best outfit for their special night out.

The second episode takes place in Hong Kong and is entitled “The Missing Baguette”, featuring several actresses making their way onto the streets looking for the lost Baguette bag.

The last episode features the city that never sleeps, New York. Indeed “The one and only Baguette” counts the story of influencer Caro Daur, surrounded by her friends, influencer Natasha Lau and models Ebonee Davis and Melissa Martinez as she realizes she cannot live without the cult purple sequined Baguette. As they run to the boutique, they find out that their gem was just sold and has fulfilled its destiny in the hands of the iconic actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who exclaims: “This is not a bag, it’s a Baguette!”

Inseparable friends, wonderful adventures and one unique Baguette bag to seal the deal. A recipe for glam and glitz indeed!
