Haute Couture week has been truly successful, and even though it’s not over yet, there are a lot of looks that have succeeded with flying colors. That said, the week started with some pretty fabulous runway shows, from Dior’s Dream Parade to CHANEL’s elegant rendition and so much more – all of which were yet another testament to Paris’ part in the fashion scene.

There were a lot of recurring motifs throughout the collections, from the eccentric shoulders to the big statement bows, the voluminous ruffles and the 20s-inspired fringes – reminiscent of the flapper girl. Designers proved yet again that Haute Couture is not just about the gowns, it’s also about the sophistication and poise of all the pieces, from the jumpsuits to the different kinds of suits. One thing’s for sure though, the city of love was crawling with designers, models, fashion editors, influencers and fashion connoisseurs – all of whom witnessed fashion in the making. And with fashion month just a few weeks away, we can’t help but delve into the glam of the fashion world ahead of the ready-to-wear shows.
