The end of summer is always bittersweet. That said, the new season brings on some favorites that we want to share with you! We’ve been loving these and hope that you do too.
As you may have already heard, Sephora now carries Kiehl's, not that we needed an excuse to go there; so I went to replenish my husband’s shaving creams and after shave, and I just happened to be out of my usual cleanser so I tried out their Kiehl's Since 1851 Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser, and fell in love with it. It’s super lightweight and sulfate free. Perfect for sensitive skin. But, I must tell you, you will have to use another product to get rid of your eye make-up, as many of these gentle cleansers don’t remove eye make-up.
I also asked about a good exfoliating cleanser and found out about a really cool product by Bare Minerals. So, it’s this fine exfoliating powder that you add to literally any cleanser and it turns it into an exfoliator. The exact name of it is MIX.EXFOLIATE.SMOOTH.® Custom Exfoliating Cleanser. A little goes a long way, and I love that the particles are tiny and really get in there to get rid of dead skin.
Last but not least, I got color matched for the HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FILTER by Charlotte Tilbury. In case you’re curious I was a shade #4 which seems like a good medium universal tone. It kind of just evens out your skin tone with minimal coverage and gives it a nice glow. It also makes your pores look smaller and can be used as a primer. Need I say more?
