Infrared Sauna Benefits

Chances are you have heard of and have sat inside a regular sauna before. So, what’s the difference between infrared and a regular sauna? The benefits are much greater with an infrared. In a traditional sauna the air around you is heated but with infrared, your body is actually what is getting heated.  

They claim it’s perfect for detoxing, destressing, giving you better skin and even making you burn calories. Sign me up! Sounds too good to be true? It’s not! But that doesn’t mean you should cancel your gym membership just yet. It’s a great addition to a healthy lifestyle. It’s kind of like sitting under the sun but without the harmful UV Rays. It’s been around for a while but lately people have been using it more and more not just for the health benefits, but also just to have some zen quiet time.


If you are a bit on the claustrophobic side they also make beds where your head sticks out. It’s no surprise that many athletes and celebrities have been using these for years. Also, doctors have used these on patients with chronic pain from arthritis and other illnesses. Please do not try this if you are pregnant.
