How to Part your hair

The easiest way to part your hair is in the middle, which is probably how your mother parted it when you were a kid. I love a middle part, but one day I came to work with a side part and couldn’t believe the number of compliments I received. Could the way you part your hair change your look that much? This is probably something to discuss with your hairdresser, but when styling at home let’s see what look would suit you.

To elongate a round face shape, a middle part with hair close to the face is a way to create more symmetry. But beware if you, for example, have one eyebrow little bit higher than the other like mine; the middle part can make this more noticeable.
By doing a side part on the other hand, you are looking at a face at an angle so anything that’s crooked isn’t as obvious.

I feel like when I’m tired my left eye always looks smaller than my right, so a trick to hide that is parting my hair, so it almost covers some of my left eye and accentuates my right eye. Side parts are also great for volume, if you haven’t washed your hair just, change the side you part it on and instant volume! Play with middle, left and right-side parts to try out different looks, it’s the fastest way to change your appearance with not much effort.
