Dubai Celebrates 25 Years of Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Offshore

In partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, Swiss haute horlogerie manufacture Audemars Piguet hosted a glamorous cocktail event in Dubai this week to celebrate 25 years of Royal Oak Offshore. Welcomed by Nicolas Garzouzi, Chief Executive Officer, Audemars Piguet Middle East and Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Commercial Officer, Seddiqi Holding, guests immersed themselves in the universe of the Maison and enjoyed a captivating video projection performance of the dance group Freckled Sky.

This event couldn’t be complete without the discovery of the timepieces of Audemars Piguet. So, Al Serkal Avenue’s INKED witnessed a stunning display of the manufacture’s watches including three novelties launched especially to mark this anniversary. Introduced earlier this year, these three new Royal Oak Offshore models include a re-edition of the original Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph and two brand new Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronographs with a contemporary dial design.

The re-edition of the original Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph finds inspiration in the original 1993 model aesthetically, while using modern watchmaking knowledge and techniques. As for the two new Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronographs, they are available on either stainless steel or 18-carat pink gold, each one limited to 50 pieces. Besides the crown and the pushpieces made of ceramic, the brand new dial is a true piece of contemporary architectural work.
