Known for his book “High Society: The history of America’s Upper Class” published in 2008, British historian, author and journalist Nicholas Foulkes chose to talk about the Jet Society in his latest release, “Swans: Legends of the Jet Society”. In fact, the word jet set transports us to a world of exotic destinations and golden beaches, making us daydream about star-studded parties in mansions, gatherings on opulent yachts, women looking as elegant as ever in couture gowns and men taking their sartorial style to the next level in sophisticated tuxedos.

This book takes us back in time to the era of Jet Society, when the technology of today was nothing more than fiction and the world was all about culture, elegance, beauty and taste. It tells us about the travels of that time, as well as its adventures – making from this book a source for tales of glamour, excitement and exclusivity.
