If there’s one thing my husband is very particular about it’s his hair. He is lucky enough to have a full head of thick hair, so hair products are very important to him. I recently caught him using my Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo, and something had to be done. I am obsessed with my Oribe hair products and I don’t plan on sharing. I thought I would find him some alternatives so he would stay away from mine. He does also use the Bumble and Bumble Sumotech to style his hair, but sometimes it’s sold out, so I wanted to find a good alternative to that as well. Another favorite is the Kevin Murphy Night Rider, but I can only find it at salons.
I am a huge fan of Moroccanoil, so I wasn’t surprised to find that their Textured Clay is also a big hit that happens to smell great just like the oil. The Moroccanoil Shampoo was also recommended, but I think my husband prefers a more volumizing shampoo because he says his hair looks “fluffy” when he uses my moisturizing shampoos. Apparently, the moisturizing ones aren’t good for volume so he was actually right. I was happy to find that Moroccan oil has an Extra Volume Shampoo and so does Bumble and Bumble. I feel like when you use products from the same line they work well together.
