I was never one to carry lots of makeup around with me, but lately leaving the house with a baby takes forever! If I want to wear any makeup when going out with my husband and daughter, I always hope that she falls asleep in the backseat so I can do my makeup while he’s driving. That’s why I’ve had to update my makeup bag, and here is a list of what I use.

Now that the weather is cooling down, I have switched to a more hydrating tinted moisturizer. I use the Oil Free in the summer and now I’m using the regular Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser. I like this because the coverage is light but buildable. I apply this with a triangular sponge which I also use for my concealer, the MAC Pro Longwear is my all-time favorite and it comes in a little pump.

I always say “don’t leave home without your eyebrows” and Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil Easy Shape & Fill is so easy to use in my car mirror.
As far as eyeshadow I only do my crease using one of the colors in the Guerlain

Terracotta Light Bronzing Powder. I also use this as my bronzer/blush.
I have a small Lancome Gift with Purchase Mascara which I love so much because it’s tiny and does an amazing job.

As far as brushes I have a crease brush, a blush brush and a powder brush.

For powder, I love the loose ones but they can get messy, so I am on the hunt for a natural looking pressed powder.

I switch out my brushes about once a month to clean ones, and switch out my sponge every time I leave the house when I know I need to do my makeup on the go.
