Victoria Beckham Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Ready-to-Wear

It was all warm and cozy inside Victoria Beckham’s Fall/Winter 2018-2019 closet, as the British singer-turned-designer channeled her knack for minimalism unto a series of fitted pieces and ensembles.

For someone who has always catered to the working-woman’s most fashionable fantasies, Beckham created a collection that boasted pieces falling right between sensuality and minimalism. Think billowing grey coats highlighted by a form-fitting belt, ensembles held tight at the waist, bodycon knit dresses upholstered with a dab of silk, leopard coats and body-grazing suits. There were oversized jumpers paired with flared trousers and grey tunics that ended on a very colorful note. Even the collection’s accessories had minimalism written all over them, as models were sporting oversized bags at times and boxy purses at other times.

It was all very delicate but extremely structured – clearly, a Victoria Beckham signature.

Feminism is very powerful and today, the designer showed that ever-so elegantly.
