The Secret to Beautiful Skin is in Your Garden

If you haven’t already guessed, the plant we are talking about is Aloe Vera. Known for its healing properties, it also hydrates and tightens. The only time I have thought of using Aloe Vera is after a sunburn, but just imagine the effects on regular skin.

The first way you can use Aloe Vera is by drinking the juice. Not only does this heal your stomach, it reduces inflammation which helps clear up any redness in your complexion.

After washing your face, rub either the plant or the gel on your face. Once you feel it drying wash it off. Your face will have an instant glow. Did you run out of cleanser? Well Aloe Vera can actually remove your makeup too.

Did you know you could even use Aloe Vera as an eye cream? It actually reduces puffiness. I like to put mine in the refrigerator to make a soothing mask.

Aloe Vera can even get rid of breakouts, but what about those scars from pimples you poked and played with? Guess what? It can fade those too!

I always include Vitamin C in my skincare routine, and the great news is that it actually already exists in the Aloe Vera plant.

Of course the best way to use Aloe Vera is directly from the plant, but if you don’t have a green thumb you can always buy it in a bottle. I like to buy the organic cold pressed versions because I feel it’s the next best thing to the actual plant.
