The Journey of Dior’s Adiorable Pumps

One of the marvels of the Dior Spring-Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection, the Adiorable pumps remind us of a Roger Vivier masterpiece created for Dior in the 1950s. Adorned with frayed black grosgrain and a deconstructed bow at the front, these exceptional accessories come to life through the infinitely precise gestures of the artisan who meticulously works and cuts the various yokes to give the model its exact shape. The fruit of virtuoso savoir-faire, they are distinguished by their irresistibly refined pointed toe. They are sublimated by two straps that embrace the ankle with audacity and delicacy, reminiscent of the show’s shoes, promising a timeless silhouette. However, two white pearls, magnified by the golden ˝CD˝ initials, come to seal the deal by adding a touch of elegance to these objects of desire.

Watch the video live from the atelier for exceptional insight into the making process of this remarkable accessory which is more of an ode to excellence.
