Shine in Fine Jewelry on Your Big Day

While high jewelry pieces are what most brides dream of wearing on their big day, fine jewelry is sometimes the better choice. How do you make that choice? Consider your wedding dress and most importantly your taste when choosing the pieces that you will wear.

Some brides prefer fine and subtle jewels and high jewelry pieces are simply not their thing. For others, however, the dress dictates the style of the pieces. In fact, wedding dresses rich in embroideries and details call for simple jewels that complement the look instead of overpowering it. Think high-collar, long-sleeved dresses or ones that come with a torso that is richly ornamented with flowers… would you imagine yourself wearing a high jewelry piece that adds details to your look if you are wearing a gown of similar style?

Earrings are a must, as they complement your face and give it a stunning je ne sais quoi feel, but choosing ones that go with your gown’s neckline is an essential detail to make you look like an elegant lady. For the necklace, your dress’ neckline is also to be taken into consideration and high collars are a no-go in this case. So if your dress is richly embroidered, opt for a simple pendant in order to enhance the beauty of your neck. As for the bracelets, avoid wearing any if your dress is long-sleeved as it will not be seen. Finally, the ring! We are not talking about the wedding ring, but the one that you need to wear on the other hand. If your jewelry choices are simple, the ring should be equally simple.
