Saint Laurent Babylone Honors Serge Gainsbourg

In collaboration with Maison Gainsbourg and Charlotte Gainsbourg, Saint Laurent Babylone and Anthony Vaccarello present an exclusive curation dedicated to Serge Gainsbourg. It features a vast selection of iconic manuscripts, original scores, autographs, photographs, film posters, rare books, vintage vinyl records, and magazines from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, each carefully sourced to form an exceptional juxtaposition between pop-culture and high culture. As a testimony to the singer-songwriter's life and career, the unique universe of Serge Gainsbourg is merging with the one of Saint Laurent Babylone to showcase around three hundred and fifty original pieces, spanning nearly four decades.

A part of the partnership between Saint Laurent and Maison Gainsbourg, this project “Alone in Babylone” is the second exhibition dedicated to Serge Gainsbourg after the first one being held at Saint Laurent Rive Droite. This one will be taking place from 1 to 31 March at Saint Laurent Babylone on the left bank of the city and the exhibited items, except for the manuscripts, will be available for sale so we can bring back with us a touch of this unmatched magic.
