Ralph Lauren Spring-Summer 2018 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Who needs a Spring Break when you have Ralph Lauren’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection? Indeed, amidst the plethora of shows unveiling their Fall 18 collection at the heart of the Big Apple, American designer Ralph Lauren gave eager show-goers a little taste of summer, coupled with our favorite models – if you’re thinking Joan Smalls and Bella Hadid, you’re absolutely right. The show kicked off with a slew of dreamy summer dresses, all of which re-imagined the effect of a blue and white combination. There was a blue tunic with white flowers paired with white trousers, a denim pantsuit, blue and white shirt-dresses cinched at the waist with brown belts and cuts that would only be this revealing come summer. Halfway through the collection, the pieces grew bolder and brighter, as models paraded down the runway in white garments that had vibrant hues splattered all around them – think bomber jackets with navy inserts, striped jumpsuits, bold ties and colorful leathers.

There were wide-legged tracksuits with rainbow stripes on the side, patent coats that could only be described as bold and vibrant.

If one can expect anything from Ralph Lauren, it’s a sporty-chic kind of attitude; and yes, we totally got the vibe.
