Piaget’s Altiplano Watches Taken to a Whole New Level

First launched in 1998, Piaget’s Altiplano collection reflected the creative spirit and technical expertise of the house’s watchmakers. Although this luxury Swiss brand always revisits their most coveted themes, their timepieces remain modern, sophisticated and timeless.

For the first time in the collection’s history, Piaget gives these iconic ultra-thin timepieces their first-ever polished gold bracelet, injecting into them a touch of urban elegance. At this year’s edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH 2015), the house revealed six new Altiplano Gold Bracelet watches, remaining faithful to the collection’s powerful identity.

Designed for both men and women, the novelties are available in pink or white gold; as well as in two different diameters: 34 and 38mm. Fitted with a polished or a diamond-set bezel, the watches preserve their pure lines and understated opaline white dial. The white gold versions of the “Altiplano Gold Bracelet” come with a diamond-set bezel, while a watch of the pink gold versions include a polished one.

A Manufacture Piaget 534P mechanical self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve beats at the heart of this watch. In line with the house’s finest watchmaking traditions and values, the timepiece features a circular Côtes de Genève, a circular-grained main plate and bevelled bridges.

While the watch’s supple bracelet comfortably fits the wrist with its integrated clasp, its beautiful smooth curves harmoniously extend the ultra-thin case and dial – making elegance a natural part of watch enthusiasts’ daily life.
