Moschino Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Ready-to-Wear

If you’re looking for a well-staged show, then look no further then Jeremy Scott’s rendition of Moschino’s Fall 18-19 collection. He’s a designer who uses eccentricity as a weapon and famous logos as a canvas for his creations. But most of all, he’s a designer who has amassed a big following of loyal fans, alongside a series of Instagram-worthy outfits. So it only seemed fair that this particular collection followed suit, as it featured models who looked like they were coming out of a sixties movie. Donning retro hairdos and wearing cabin crew-inspired uniforms, the models came out in pops of colors – think funky blues, Barbie pinks, orange tones and purple hues.

Scott went as far as dying some of the models’ bodies in vibrant colors, worthy of a candy-inspired collection. Ensembles were upholstered with vinyl outlining, gloves were rendered plastic, and gowns were transformed into a reconstruction of materials, as sequins and silks blended together ever so dashingly.

Eccentric? Maybe! But it’s just what we’ve come to expect from Jeremy Scott!
