The front row at Miu Miu just goes to show who Miuccia Prada’s target market is with Prada’s little sister: sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning and a handful of young influencers all sporting the coveted satin mules with diamante clasps. This is the Miu Miu girl and for her, spring/summer is about punchy shades and layering. Neon yellow, orange and pink socks were styled with high heeled sandals and flats, adding pops of color to the masculine grey tailoring that opened the show. Over-the-knee socks were styled with miniskirts and plaid red and navy sleeveless biker jackets. Knitted patterned tank tops were color-contrasted with patterned skirts and purple add-on collars. Retro print coats paraded down the catwalk to the sounds of heavy metal. For evening, a black lace trim camisole dress, was belted over a lime green short sleeve shirt. This was preppy and cool and so very Miu Miu.
