Michael Kors Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

He has racked up an elitist clientele and has catered for the most opulent customers out there. Yes, Michael Kors is not one to shy away from the spotlight, nor are his models, for that matter. With big names such as Anna Dello Russo and Chiara Ferragni in the front row, the show was already looking very promising.

The leggy models sashayed onto the runway in a Hawaiian-chic kind of clothing – think Aloha sweats, fresh large trousers and one big scarf-necklace that could have doubled as a Hawaiian insignia. Even the lightweight coats featured a leafy pattern, heading towards a garden-fresh vibe with colors skewing from baby blue to white. Maxi pink knits were paired with color-matching light dresses and pinstriped trousers were rendered more summery with a calmer color palette. The models sported tongs at times and heeled sandals at other times, highlighting the calming breeziness of the collection. The clothes shortly turned into sultry floral dresses at times and elegant culottes with straw sandals at other times. The designs were all bracketed with a light continuum of colors, all of which made the collection mood board very clear: the calmer, the better.
