Marco De Vincenzo Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Ready-to-Wear

The Italians really know how to mix-up their colors and textures, and none more so than Marco de Vincenzo. Hailing from Sicily, an island that in ancient times was once referred to as Ultrapharum - the name which served as the title of his show - de Vincenzo presented a quirky, playful collection infused with psychedelic tones and flamboyant patterns. From the checkerboard print furs that mimicked the old television screens when they had no signal, to the rainbow striped dresses and skirts with a big dose of heavy duty disco glitter. Vincenzo gave a fashion nod to all things tech and the concept of ‘getting connected’, with digitized rose and face prints on intricate knits and dresses, as well as a cheeky silver glitter blouse embellished with the words: “No Signal”
