Louis Vuitton Presents its Third FIFA World Cup Collection

Following its past participation in the world’s biggest sporting event FIFA – South Africa in 2010 and Brazil in 2014 – Louis Vuitton is now flourishing this relationship with its participation in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia as part of three new projects.

The House has therefore created a new special-order FIFA World Cup Trophy Travel Case in which the FIFA World Cup Trophy can be safely transported and displayed. Hand-crafted in Louis Vuitton’s workshops in Asnières, France, the case will hold the ionic trophy when it’s revealed at the Opening and Final Match of the event.

Louis Vuitton has also teamed up with FIFA and Adidas to create a limited-edition FIFA World Cup Official Match Ball Collection Trunk, pegged to become a collector’s item. The trunk opens to reveal a collection of 13 reeditions of the Official Match Balls used at FIFA World CupTM tournaments since 1970, all fabricated especially for this project by Adidas, with an additional football, designed by Louis Vuitton includedinside.

The Louis Vuitton 2018 FIFA World Cup RussiaOfficial Licensed Product Collection features exclusive versions of Keepall and Apollo bags, alongside a selection of smaller leather pieces, made with an innovatively embossed version of the House’s classic Epi leather. The collection includes playful designs and a specially designed Louis Vuitton FIFA World Cup logo, while the initials “L.V” are placed like a team badge. To top it all off, a customization tool will offer clients the chance to create original and unique flag-inspired colored versions of the collection’s Keepall bags during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
