Loewe Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Ready-to-Wear

The Loewe woman has always been celebrated for her pared-down elegance and sporty attitude. And today, on a beautiful Friday morning, she was shining with the House’s fine craftsmanship and intricate use of leathers.

Jonathan Anderson, known for his exquisite taste, constantly caters to the woman on the go. So for Fall/Winter 2018-2019, the designer sent out models in fur-trimmed numbers, from checkered dresses to chic ensembles and voluptuous coats. The first model wore a dress layered with a bra – kudos to Anderson’s creativity – while others donned patterned coats (think zig zag patterns and whatnot). There was a nod to the House’s knack for leather-making, mostly apparent through coats, maxi dresses and pantsuits outlined with leather pockets. The utilitarian look was very obvious, as models sported casual dresses, shirt dresses and trench coats. The designer’s talent for layering was ever so-present, from the tunics on trousers to the knits on dresses.
