Like at every fashion show for Dior, Peter Philips uses all his creativity to embody the spirit of the collection in a versatile makeup look for the finest of women. This time around, he embodied the woman Maria Grazia Chiuri had in mind and her liberated beauty to create a look that is perfect by all means and worthy of an equally sophisticated haute couture collection.

As he explains, “this intrepid adventurer feels at home all over the world. She’s an explorer who crosses the 5 continents and shows us a beautiful, bare, slightly untamed beauty that is unaffected. She loves movement and speed, travel and discovery. She embodies the momentum of the House of Dior, which, from its beginnings 70 years ago, developed incredibly quickly on an international level.”

To get the natural look, he used either Dior Forever Fluid Foundation or Dior Forever Extreme Control Compact Foundation depending on the model’s skin tone. He also added light correction with a few dabs of Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer. And lastly for the cheeks, he applied a veil of DiorBlush Contour & Light in no001 as well as a touch of Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer in no001 to add an imperceptible sheen to the areas that catch the light.

Barely underlined, the eyes were equally natural. The eyelids were slightly made up with an apricot-nude color using the new Metalizer Eyes & Lips in n°528 Platine Fusion and Metalizer Eyes & Lips in n°678 Bronze Tension applied imperceptibly to the roots of the lashes in order to intensify the eyes. However, the eyebrows were styled in contrast to the purity of the complexion, as they are very important for this look. Therefore, they were accentuated with DiorShow Brow Styler and set with the new tinted gel, Diorshow Bold Brow, which gives them a bit of an untamed effect.

Lips were also natural, prepped with Lip Sugar Scrub and Lip Maximizer, then hydrated with Lip Glow in n°001 – just like the nails, which were prepped with Abricot Base Coat and Abricot Gel Coat.

Styled by Guido Palau, hair carried an exceptional romantic look with long soft waves pulled back into a low ponytail, tied at the nape.
