On October 8th, the Italian Embassy in Tokyo witnessed the show of Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Artigianalità collection. For this special occasion, Shiseido Group supported the show by creating its beauty look using Dolce & Gabbana Beauty makeup collection. It’s with a flawless complexion, sultry eyes emphasized with soft eyebrows and captivating lips that the beauty look expressed the designers’ vision.
The models’ flawless complexion called for the use of the Perfect Luminous Creamy Foundation in the first step, blended from the center of the face outward. The cheeks were naturally highlighted with the Creamy Blush in Rosa Calizia 20 applied to the apples towards the ears. As a final step, the Creamy Illuminator in Rosa del Mattino 60 was applied to add a natural glow to the skin.
For the eyes, the base was subtle shades of golden beige from The Eyeshadow Quad in Desert 123 applied across the eyelid, while the sultry cat-eye was achieved using Emotioneyes High Definition Eyeliner Stylo in Nero 1. A double line of The Kohl Pencil in True White 2 applied under the eye added a modern touch to this traditional Dolce Vita look, and to add definition layers of Passioneyes Mascara in Nero 1 were applied on the curled top lashes with a special attention to the outer corners. As the eye look can’t be complete without nice brows, the latters were sculpted using Emotioneyes Brow Powder Duo in Brunette 2.
The colors of the lips were reminiscent of the flowers’ colors that adorned the hair of the models. Intense red, vibrant dahlia and bold pink shades were applied in matte and creamy textures using Dolce Matte and Classic Cream lipsticks.
Finally, the nails! Unlike the lips, the nails were painted in natural shades using The Nail Lacquer in Bella 210 and Pink 220.
