Dior’s exquisite haute couture circus landed in Dubai yesterday and safe to say, it was a huge milestone for the region as it was the first ever couture show in DXB. 

Indeed, it was at the heart of Dubai’s Safa Park that the enchanting parade blossomed, in the presence of the world’s and the region’s biggest fashion connoisseurs, influencers and endorsers. Having first showcased the collection in Paris back in January, it offered a lavish twist on the ever-so fabulous circus theme, giving a new spin to the traditional costumes found in the main ring at the circus. In Dior’s lingo, that meant opulent dresses, shimmering pleated skirts, new and inventive versions of the iconic Bar jacket – the House’s staple item – and a color palette that boasted mostly rays of gold, shades of intense red and subtle hints of green and lilac. To top it all off, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri created fifteen exclusive designs for the region, making the whole show a soirée to remember. The show closed with a marvelous and exquisite trailing cape that added to the enchantment of the night. The magical night continued with a dazzling after party under the starry tent of the Dior Dream Parade, where everyone who’s anyone celebrated yet another successful evening in Dior’s journey of exceptional celebrations.
