Etro Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

“What do paisley, white and travel mean to you?” With those questions posed pre-show on the Etro instagram account, and with a white paisley print catwalk and little paisley print velvet cushions for guests to sit on, it was very obvious which direction spring/summer was going in for the fashion house famous for its prints. The Etro woman took inspiration from her global travels in the East. It was a first for Creative Directors Ken and Veronica Etro who showed both the men's and women’s collections. Like princesses descending from majestic palaces in India, models graced the runway in a series of changing jewel toned floating silk dresses starting off with paisley print whites then moving to greens, and reds and pinks. Embroidered velvet jackets were styled with mini empire line dresses. Emerald and ruby chandelier earrings adorned ears. For evening, statement gowns with striking halter-necks or asymmetric necklines took center stage.
