Dubai Design Week Unveils PostCraft

Dubai Design Week always has surprises for design lovers and every year, we never get disappointed by its treats. Celebrating creativity from the four corners of the world, BD Barcelona Design partners up with The Odd Piece to launch the PostCraft collection, which will be unveiled on November 14th during this much-anticipated event.

PostCraft finds its inspiration in the local culture and talents that blend design with heritage, innovation and traditional techniques – leading to the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces. Created under the supervision of Syrian-Spanish designer Samer Yamani, the collection comprises the works of Sheikha Hind bint Majed Al Qassimi from UAE, civil engineer Maysam Nassar from Bahrain, interior designer Loulwa Al Radwan from Kuwait and brothers Gazzaz Bro from Jeddah. If you think that’s all, you are absolutely wrong! The collection will also include five special pieces from BD Barcelona Design’s permanent collection.

Entitled Is-Dher, Sheikha Hind bint Majed Al Qassimi’s art pieces were supported by The Odd Piece store in Dubai and capture three historical eras – pre-petroleum era, petroleum era and post-petroleum era. Every vase of her collection reflects its era through the material used to create it. We’re super excited to see the exquisite pieces!
