Until June 15th, The Dubai Mall will witness Dior’s expertise in watchmaking. In fact, the house’s boutique will display the new Dior Grand Bal watches with their *Inversé 11 ½ caliber. And as everything created by Dior, these watches’ oscillating weight finds inspiration in one of Monsieur Dior’s greatest passions, the twirling of a gown worn to a glamorous ball.
“Events of this order are true works of art. They are desirable, necessary and important if they restore the taste and meaning of authentic celebrations”, he mentions in his memoirs.
If you think it’s all about the watches, you are absolutely wrong! In addition to the timepieces on display, several haute couture looks designed by the couturier and his successors are reproduced in a reduced scale by the house’s petites mains and showcased for your pleasure.
