Dior Maison Partners Up with Dimore Studio for Salone Del Mobile

Just when we thought that 2019’s edition of Salone Del Mobile couldn’t get any more exciting, Dior proves us wrong by unveiling its collaboration with Dimore Studio. Founded in Milan in 2003, the architecture and design studio was given the absolute liberty to design 14 exclusive pieces for the house.

The collection, which features vases, place settings, frames, an umbrella stand, a candelabra, a lighter and an ashtray, will be available by special order only and for a one-year period. In celebration of Dior’s iconic cannage, this exclusive collection brings together gold, silver and bronze and highlights a beautiful interplay of Plexiglas and natural woven rattan. Well, imagine a collection inspired by the Napoleon III-style chairs that Christian Dior used to seat his guests at his fashion shows and add to it a sophisticated silver-leaf work and golden nuances that revisit Monsieur Dior’s passion for the 18th century in a contemporary way – such an interesting combination, don’t you agree?

Looking at the pieces, the tribute to Surrealism and Cubism movements hardly goes unnoticed. An ideal expression of excellence in savoir-faire, French art de vivre and Dimore Studio’s unique contemporary signature, this collection is a celebration of culture and we invite you to take a look at these stunning pieces.
