Diesel Stands Up Against Perfection

Who hasn’t, at some point or another in their life, felt personally victimized by the so-called “perfection” of social media? Well, luckily for us, Diesel understands. So much so that the brand has decided to delete all posts from its Instagram account, choosing to kick off a new imperfect journey.

Following in American singer Taylor Swift’s footsteps, Diesel has released a statement to justify its bold move: "We think perfection is boring, and especially on Instagram everybody seeks perfection. Perfect photo, perfect picture, perfect life. And we are just tired of it. So we decided to delete everything for an imperfect new-beginning."

To top it all off, Diesel is set to release its latest FW17 “Go With The Flaw Campaign” and it’s pegged to be legendary. We think the Italian brand deserves a round of applause for standing up against the looming culture of social media. And yes, it is okay to be imperfect. Kudos Diesel!
