Chloé Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

For her debut collection as Chloé’s Creative Director, Natacha Ramsay-Levi channeled the timeless power of the moon and the sun through the House’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection. In the fashion world, that meant reuniting the Wild West’s most distinctive patterns with the mystical world of a bohemian queen. Indeed, Ramsay-Levi drew on the care-free imagery of the west using bouffant blouses and midi gypsy skirts. Gilets were layered on top of blouses and beautifully matched with outlined miniskirts, while cropped jeans were recreated in a collage of outlined seams and paired with tight leather boots.

Flirty white dresses were imprinted with imaginary landscapes of blues and oranges and seemed to effortlessly blend into the whole “moon and sun” concept. A bold amount of leather pieces gave the collection a sort of vintage feel – think brown leather jackets and python bottoms. The show eventually took on a slightly formal look as Natacha Ramsay-Levi sent out models in pantsuits and ruffled tunics.
