Bottega Veneta Announces New Personalization Program

“When Your Own Initials Are Enough.” It’s a saying that has marked Bottega Veneta since the seventies, putting into sight the brand’s aversion to logos. And so, Tomas Maier took this motto under his wing when he became Creative Director of the brand.

The brand’s personalization program kicked off on the Spring 2018 runways, unveiling new seasonal men’s styles available for personalization such as the Stripe group—totes and duffels in canvas, suede and ostrich patterned with bold sporty stripes leaving a dedicated blank space for one’s initials. For women, the styles that can be personalized include the Intrecciato Palio tote and BV73 tote and bag. The program also includes the brand’s iconic intrecciato styles such as the Veneta hobo, the Olimpia shoulder bag and the Cesta tote, along with wallets, zipped pouches and phone cases. For men, the styles vary from backpacks to business bags, dossiers, and travel essentials as well as a variety of wallets and other small leather goods.

And so, starting February, clients will be able to revel in personalization services at Bottega Veneta boutiques, with dedicated corners within the store. With embossing and stamping being both complimentary, the finished product will be available within 24 hours at select stores or within a few days, and the characters are available in three sizes and six colors. As for stitching, it’s not complimentary and customers are charged per letter.
