Benefits of Soft Water

Ever since I can remember my hair and skin have always been dry. We all know that we have to hydrate from the inside and out, and yes, drinking plenty of water and moisturizing is so important, but did you know that the water you shower and wash your hands with could also make a huge difference? Most of the water we use is called “hard” water. Hard water contains different types of minerals which usually throws off the PH balance. We always stress the importance of using a toner to even out the PH Balance in your skin, but what if your water could do that for you. Basically, there is a treatment that is added to your water which contains sodium. Think of when it rains or you swim in the sea, nature’s water is not suitable for drinking, but is soft to the touch. Not only is “soft” water good for your skin, but you will notice a difference in your laundry and even when wiping down your shower doors, there will no longer be residue from minerals in hard water. After switching to “soft” water for only a week I already see a huge difference in my skin. I barely get any more breakouts and my skin has this natural glow that is was missing for years! I even see a difference in my daughter’s hair. She has a softer wave and very shiny hair. Before you install this in your home, do ask your doctor first. Those on a low sodium diet or high risk of cardiovascular disease should not be using this.
