A good Highlighter can brighten your complexion, and is the secret weapon to a youthful and healthy glow.

Practically all make up brands have their own version or range of highlighters, but finding one that works for you, doesn't dry up or fade away is what matters the most!

As a makeup artist, I think the one product I have way too much of is highlighter, simply because I cannot resist them, and I love trying out different formulas in the hopes that one would work even better than the one before!

I have rounded up my favorite highlighters, in different formulas, all tried and tested, guaranteed to give off the perfect glow, in addition to accentuating the features you love the most! 

1.   Shimmering Skin Perfecting Liquid by Becca Cosmetics is a must have in every makeup kit! Its smooth, lightweight, blendable formula works great on its own, or mixed with your foundation. I feel my skin is so supple, soft, and years younger when I use this product!

2.   Watt’s Up by Benefit is great for achieving a natural and gorgeous glow! It comes in a cream stick formula and what I love the most about this, is that it can be used before or after makeup application, meaning it sits well on top of powder formulas as well as liquid. The pearly glow is guaranteed and will not fade. It’s loved by brides too!

3.   Extra Dimension Skin Finish by MAC. I adore this product to the point where I couldn't settle for one shade. I purchased them all! They come in perfect tones and there is one for every skin tone. It’s best applied with a fan shaped brush, and this product can be used both wet or dry (using it wet will give a more intense finish). This powder is now also available in a blush called Extra Dimension blush, and is beautiful when worn on cheeks, eyes, lips....you name it! This product sure delivers!

4.   Star Powder by Make Up Forever is a WOW product. It consists of the perfect amount of shimmer with all day staying power. The pigment doesn't dull down nor does it fade. It will POP your favorite features and comes in a variety of colors too. The best part is that it’s a loose powder formula which means the pot will last a very long time. An all-round great value for money!
