With the return of fall, come beautiful looks and colors, and this season we are loving all things rose gold, from clothing to accessories, and of course makeup!

I always find Rose gold to be a very delicate feminine shade and a monochromatic makeup look with this gradient of color is absolutely stunning.

First step is to keep your foundation and base natural and on point. Hence the word desert, because it’s all about earth tones and soft beiges and browns.

When it comes to eyes and lips, choose rose gold products in color and metallic in texture. The metallic shimmer really gives off the vibe of intense karats, where as a matte won't in this case.

I love MAC Pigment in Rose Gold by MAC Cosmetics. You can use it as an eye shadow, then blend in a darker brown in the corners for definition, or simply leave it as a wash of color on the lids.

For lipstick, a great idea would be to use the same pigment and mix in some gloss. Or you can opt for an actual lipstick in a metallic pink gold shade. I like to add on some extra metal on the lower lip for some extra dimension.

Finish off the look with a light wash of blusher, obviously in a soft pink or peachy gold! Frost or matte on the cheeks is entirely down to the way you prefer it to be.

Remember, as with any look, less is more!
