Who knew swimsuits could be so elegant? Apparently so, Alberta Ferrettidid! Her Spring-Summer 2018 show kicked off with a slew of leggy models making their way onto the runway in black sophisticated bathing suits with wide-brimmed hats.
The designer’s knack for romantic femininity came alive in a series of high-slit cut-out dresses and see-through tunics – all of which were exuding a very summer-ish mood. The winds were blowing again towards all-things-light, as feathery mini-dresses were spotted bathing in a refreshing color palette.
Along came a series of nude pieces mining familiar territory – think sequined ensembles and a see-through dress covered with a lightweight coat. Strapless maxi dresses flashed with blue metallic hints while blouses tied at the waist were paired with loose trousers in the most sparkling kind of ways.
But then again, with a fabulous show starring the most elitist models such as Bella and Gigi Hadid, Taylor Hill and Hailey Baldwin, who wouldn’t want to be part of the Alberta Ferretti frenzy?
