We were promised a “Wunderkammer” (Wonder Room) for the Aigner Fall 2018 show yesterday, and a wonder room is what we got. Guests were greeted by a concrete runway covered in an assortment of Persian rugs, and a backdrop of television screens with different moving patterns and the Aigner “A” in leopard print. There are plenty of ways to cleverly include a brand logo in a collection. Take a subtle “A” in the corner of an oversized red and leopard print scarf draped around the neck of a slinky red fringed dress, styled with black trousers and vampy bow detail heels. Or an over-the-top sport chic gold Aigner logo emblazoned on a black sweat top layered over a gold sequin top, and paired with vivid print trousers. Not to mention the “Aigner” logo handbag strap.
